Welcome to our 4th Wheelchair Basketball Challenge. This year it will be held Thursday May 21 2026 Glen Cove High School Gymnasium 6:30 pm.
Again, we welcome back New York Rolling Fury, a group of young adults who play wheelchair basketball against the best!
In the past we have enjoyed watching our local Police department, school faculty and Kiwanis members compete with these young people. In the past we have had, student of the select choir sing the National Anthem, Kickl ine and Cove Dance to entertain during our half time. All players leave with a Tee shirt as a Thank you for their participation in our evening. It’s just a fun night!
The evening is a family friendly event, the cost of $5.00 entry fee per person. We have invited our sponsored youth groups to participate, along with other clubs in the building to help. As time goes on, the site will be updated with who is playing, who’s sponsoring and who will sing and dance to entertain during half time.
How to be involve: Are you up to the challenge? Do you think you can play a time-limited game of Basketball in a Wheelchair? We’re here to cheer you on!! Teams: 5 (1 alternate) 6 players. (limit to 4 teams) Teams pay $125.00 as a donation to the club. If you’d like to show your support we have ads that will be displayed throughout the evening and during advertising. Attached is a downloadable form that can be emailed or mailed to us with your interest. The cut off date for ads May 13th. Again, we will advertise your support during all media announcements up to and the evening of the event.
